The Azerbaijan State Song and Dance Ensemble participated in the International Silk Road Festival in Osijek-Baranya county, Croatia

On June 14-16, 2019, the Azerbaijan State Song and Dance Ensemble participated in the International Silk Road Festival in Osijek-Baranya, Croatia, organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Croatia and supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The main purpose of the event was to promote dialogue between different peoples and to promote the unique cultures formed in the countries of the Great Silk Road. As part of the festival, there were screenings of feature films of the Silk Road countries, as well as national music, dance, cuisine and other cultural events.

This year artists from Turkey, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Iran, Mongolia and India attended the Silk Road Festival.

The dance group of the Azerbaijan State Song and Dance Ensemble performed various national dances in the concert programs and was greeted with interest and sympathy by the Croatian audience.
